{"id":8274,"date":"2024-10-22T05:45:43","date_gmt":"2024-10-22T05:45:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sokalsandhya.com\/?p=8274"},"modified":"2024-10-22T05:45:43","modified_gmt":"2024-10-22T05:45:43","slug":"cm-attends-review-meeting-chaired-by-union-minister-nitin-gadkari","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sokalsandhya.com\/en\/archives\/8274","title":{"rendered":"CM attends review meeting chaired by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Agartala :<\/strong> In a major boost to Tripura\u2019s economy and communication system, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways will sanction projects worth over Rs 2800 crore for the state.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The development came after Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha attended a review meeting chaired by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, in Vanijya Bhawan today.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, discussions were held on eight projects that will be sanctioned by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, for Tripura.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The projects include Rs 800 crore for the Agartala Eastern Bypass, a four-lane road stretching 11 km, Rs 1500 crore for widening the Amtali to Tripura Sundari Temple road, a 50 km stretch into a four-lane road, Rs 400 crore for converting the Ranibazar to ISBT Chandrapur road into a four-lane 10 km stretch, and Rs 100 crore for the additional sanction under the Central Road Fund.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Apart from these, Dr. Saha also held discussions on a new National Highway from Kamalpur to Ambassa, Gandacherra, Amarpur to Sabroom to enhance international trade and tourism, a logistics park on the Eastern Bypass near Agartala over a 100-acre land, and the sanctioning of funds for restoring National Highways damaged by floods.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Out of four proposals, the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the Ropeway from Maharani to Chabimura is expected to be sanctioned soon.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Agartala : In a major boost to Tripura\u2019s economy and communication system, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways will sanction projects worth over Rs 2800 crore for the state.&hellip;<\/p>","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":8275,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"content-type":"","_lmt_disableupdate":"","_lmt_disable":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[1,3,5],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-8274","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-first-post","category-tripura","category-country"],"aioseo_notices":[],"aioseo_head":"\n\t\t<!-- All in One SEO 4.9.10 - aioseo.com -->\n\t<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Agartala : In a major boost to Tripura\u2019s economy and communication system, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways will sanction projects worth over Rs 2800 crore for the state.
