Agartala : Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday expressed his confidence in the overwhelming support shown by the people, ensuring the victory of the BJP candidate with a record number of votes.
Dr. Saha said while leading a massive rally for the nomination filing of BJP candidate Kriti Singh Debbarma in the East (ST) Parliamentary seat.
Kriti Singh Debbarma filed the nomination papers before the Returning Officer Dr. Saju Vahid in Ambassa at Dhalai District.
He said that the BJP, IPFT, and Tipra Motha alliance would propel Tripura towards further development in the future.
“The level of enthusiasm I have witnessed among the people assures me that our candidate will secure a record number of votes. You have demonstrated the true essence of unity in diversity. The entire country is now witnessing it. If we stand together, the dream of ‘Ek Tripura Srestha Tripura’ will soon be realized. We have never seen such a huge rally in recent times. This is only possible because we love our country and our people,” he said.
Dr. Saha mentioned that many people started trembling, and their heart rates increased after witnessing such a massive rally.
“I believe we should send doctors to assist them. All Jati and Janajati communities will work for the development of Tripura. Without the development of Janajati, the development of Tripura is not possible. PM Modi has introduced the Act East policy for the development of Northeast states, especially Tripura, which we never thought of. We have received the HIRA Model. BJP, IPFT, and Tipra Motha will work for development. We seek your blessings. We must visit every household to strengthen relations and garner support. I am confident that we are going to win, and PM Modi has also stated that our target is 370, and I hope it will exceed that, and we will win both seats,” he added.
